A friend approached me about running a program called Future Design School.

Video recap

About this project

As a kid, school wasn’t for me. This project was a chance to show kids who like me struggled to make sense of homework and bell schedules but thrived in ambiguous, purpose-driven environments.

As part of our training, we facilitators designed our own apps, created user personas, problem statements, how might we questions, brand identities, user flows, mock-ups, and business plans.

My documentation on this project is limited. Running a sleepover camp with 20 kids keeps you busy. What I do have, though, are photos and a video.

I hope to share design thinking in more schools in the future.
